Peng You opened the Fighting Walleye hockey game on October 16th, 2018 at the Tournament Centre, Thunder Bay with Tai Chi Hockey Stick.
Peng You presented a $700 cheque to Daniel Hobbs of the Canadian Red Cross today for the Ottawa Gatineau Tornado Victims Relief. These funds were donated from the Peng You Taiji Quan Association. The money was raised through a Tai Chi luncheon held at the Cumberland Restaurant and a Tai Chi Open House at the Peng You International Taiji Academy.
I received an early vote from 103 year young Elsie Koivisto. Thank you for your trust, Elsie! I will work hard to improve services for seniors so they can enjoy a long retirement.
This was a historical moment in December of 2015 when First Nation youth from northwestern Ontario Pow Wow team performed on the Great Wall. The journey to China was led by Thunder Bay Sister City Advisory Committee Member Peng You who worked on this project for many years to make it happen.
